Darkbound is a survival horror game where you play as a cat. Avoid the darkness, solve puzzles and help other survivors to escape the hospital.
You wake up in your hospital room in the middle of the night and you don't know how much time has passed. Find a way out of this nightmare before it’s too late.
Something must be wrong, being in the dark hurts. You have to get out before that thing finds you.
Gather tools and information to help you solve puzzles and overcome drawbacks.
Help out and befriend survivors scattered across the hospital in order to advance towards the exit.

- Extract all the contents in a folder of your computer.
- Double click on the .exe file to play.
Linux
- Extract all the contents in a folder of your computer.
- Execute the .x86_64 file to play.

Tldr: definitely worth checking out the free demo!
Pros and cons:
+ decent storytelling and cutscenes
+ everybody's name has "meow" or "miau" or "nya" in it
+ funny Animal Crossing graphics
+ fun sound effects
- master volume a bit too quiet tho
- running around is hard cuz controls and camera angles kinda suck, even with modern controls
o but that might be the point: to make the player feel like a little kid panicking, lost in a hopsital that probably has zombies that will probably eat you or something.
+ thanks for making it work on Linux!
- demo is kinda short. Hard to decide if I really wanna buy it when it comes out.
Potential bugs:
- autosave didn't work :(
- lighting a match with a controller didn't work. Changing the controls didn't help, and the button symbols didn't match the buttons on my xbox controller.

Downloaded the demo off Steam, what was shown is truly astounding. To the animations, sounds, and art, this is truly something that you and I don’t want to miss. My favorite thing was how you implemented the darkness as a hazard. Keep up the good work. Also, make sure to give Nyadia headpats for me please.
